Transcript
Terry:

You're listening to Roll for Percepticast, episode zero,

Terry:

introducing the Roll for Percepticast.

Terry:

It is time once again to Roll

Evelyn:

for Percepticast.

Terry:

I am Terry, your forever GM and lover of all things roleplay.

Evelyn:

And I'm Evelyn, roleplayer GM and unrepentant dice goblin.

Terry:

Join us as we roll dice.

Evelyn:

And talking strange voices.

Terry:

And bring to you our excitement and joy for all things

Terry:

tabletop roleplaying, and welcome!

Terry:

You've probably heard a little intro at the beginning, which I'll do in post,

Terry:

that mentions this is session zero, uh, or episode zero, our introduction.

Terry:

session, our introduction podcast.

Terry:

Um, we are starting a new podcast.

Terry:

Welcome to Roll 4 Percepticast.

Terry:

As we've already said, but this episode is really for you to kind of get to know

Terry:

us to, uh, learn a little bit about us before we get into the nuts and bolts.

Terry:

This will be released at the same time as episode one.

Terry:

So you'll be getting a full episode as well.

Terry:

But this gives you a chance, especially if you're a brand new

Terry:

listener to find out who we are.

Terry:

Percepticast.

Terry:

Now, Roll for Percepticast comes from our group name, which is Roll for Perception.

Terry:

It is a gaming group that we started, what, how many?

Evelyn:

Uh, it would have been 20, 21.

Terry:

Is that what it is?

Evelyn:

Somewhere in there.

Evelyn:

Cause we started with the extinction curse.

Terry:

Yes.

Evelyn:

Um, and then we had a bit of a hiatus and then that was,

Terry:

that was the first one.

Terry:

But we

Evelyn:

weren't officially Roll for Perception at that point.

Terry:

No, we were just kind of doing things under no moniker.

Terry:

I think we were still using a Macha Guidi.

Terry:

Um,

Evelyn:

it was that channel.

Evelyn:

Yeah, we hadn't switched it over

Terry:

yet.

Terry:

So, so let me give you a little information about what

Terry:

you're, you'll be able to find.

Terry:

On the podcast, uh, podcasts will usually run an hour to an hour and a half,

Terry:

depending on what the topic is for each.

Terry:

Individual episode.

Terry:

And we'll be looking at a lot of the TTRPG systems and games that are out there.

Terry:

Um, this includes both the major companies, which we've talked about, Call

Terry:

of Cthulhu, um, Vampire, the Masquerade,

Evelyn:

World of Darkness.

Evelyn:

Well, so

Terry:

some of the bigger things, but also a lot of the indie games.

Terry:

I've fallen in love with the indie side of things.

Terry:

And so I really want to be able to let other people know.

Terry:

What is out there and what they can do now?

Terry:

Just to note we will be avoiding the big players namely dnd and pathfinders

Terry:

as they both have more than enough podcasts That deal with specifically

Terry:

their topics and youtube channels, honestly So that's not what we're doing.

Terry:

We are We're moving in a different way.

Terry:

Uh, we'll be talking about role play.

Terry:

Um, both of us have backgrounds in theater.

Terry:

Um, I know that we have a strong feeling about storytelling as a major

Terry:

part of what draws us to the game.

Terry:

Uh, we'll be having episodes that talk about how to role play, how to

Terry:

storytell, how to really embrace.

Terry:

The fantasy of the game.

Terry:

Um, we'll be talking about world building.

Terry:

I know you've done a bit of world building.

Terry:

Yeah, quite

Evelyn:

a bit.

Evelyn:

Um, that kind of went on hiatus with, you know, how life goes sometimes.

Evelyn:

But, um, yeah, I've done, I've done quite a bit.

Terry:

And then I'm currently doing it with the current campaign, which we'll

Terry:

talk a little bit about here in a minute, uh, that we run on, on Monday nights.

Terry:

And so, world building, game creation, campaign creation, tips about how to

Terry:

create worlds and, you know, how to make them feel lived in, how to, how

Terry:

to create campaigns that draw your players in, keep them having fun.

Terry:

And of course, other topics that come up based on what is

Terry:

happening in the TTRPG world.

Terry:

I mean, it is ever evolving, ever changing.

Terry:

I know, I know, I know we mentioned that we're not going to talk about the major

Terry:

players, but Starfinder 2E is coming out.

Evelyn:

Yeah, and we're very excited about that since, um, as far as

Evelyn:

the big players go, we like the 2E.

Evelyn:

Three action economy system.

Evelyn:

So getting to do that in space would be really cool.

Terry:

Pathfinder in space.

Terry:

That's why it's called

Evelyn:

Starfinder.

Terry:

Um, all right.

Terry:

So, uh, we're going to go a little deeper introduction about who we are.

Terry:

Um, I'm actually going to start because my.

Terry:

playing of TTRPGs is actually significantly shorter than Evelyn's,

Terry:

and I'll let her talk about herself.

Terry:

So, I want to tell you, I didn't start playing TTRPGs until I was 38.

Terry:

Uh, I'm at the recording of this, I'm still technically 45.

Terry:

Yes, I'm still 40, I'm 45.

Terry:

So I have actually only been playing TTRPGs now for about eight years.

Terry:

And my first one was a 5e campaign.

Terry:

It was with a bunch of college faculty members at the school that

Terry:

I was teaching at, at the time.

Terry:

dorks playing a lot of, uh, really dorky, uh, characters, I've been doing roleplay

Terry:

for much longer, I've been playing World of Warcraft from 2007 till just a couple

Terry:

years ago, and almost always on roleplay servers, so the idea of roleplay and

Terry:

creating stories was nothing new to me when I came into the TTRPG space.

Terry:

COVID actually ended that campaign, but I was then offered a chance to play on

Terry:

a streamed game, and that's actually where I reconnected with Evelyn.

Terry:

Um, and that was a D& D 3.

Terry:

5e Pathfinder 1e game.

Terry:

We had a lot of fun, had a lot of memorable characters.

Terry:

Anybody who is listening to this podcast and remembers those games,

Terry:

I still miss Rin and Shorewind, two of my favorite characters.

Terry:

Favorite characters that I've ever had a chance to play, but really had a blast.

Terry:

But during that time is when I started kind of poking at different

Terry:

TTRPGs and fell into really enjoying how Pathfinder 2E played.

Terry:

It had more rules, more crunch.

Terry:

It had ways it, for somebody new like me, allowed me to see how I could run things.

Terry:

Uh, the problem is, is once you start looking at things, you

Terry:

start going farther and farther.

Terry:

Well, with once I got into PF2E, we started a stream that was our extinction

Terry:

curse campaign, which lasted maybe a year.

Terry:

Do you remember?

Terry:

I

Evelyn:

don't think it was quite a year because, um, uh,

Evelyn:

one of our players had to, uh, do touring with his band.

Evelyn:

And so we lost him for a lot of the sessions.

Evelyn:

So we ended up having to.

Evelyn:

Kind of cut it there due to his like work schedule basically.

Terry:

Yeah, but I mean it was it was a lot of fun It was yeah, I

Evelyn:

would love to get that group back together because it was a fun bunch.

Terry:

Yeah.

Terry:

Yes And then, uh, that's when I started, um, uh, that, so that

Terry:

kind of fell by the wayside.

Terry:

I was still streaming with the other group, uh, but then started

Terry:

up another stream, uh, with several people that I love and adore.

Terry:

And we did an Outlaws of Alkenstar campaign and that campaign was phenomenal.

Terry:

We had a blast that was to date, um, on one of two adventure paths

Terry:

in Pathfinder 2E that I finished, the other being Abomination Vaults.

Terry:

And it was a wonderfully streamed campaign.

Terry:

We had a lot of fun.

Terry:

We lost a player midway and gained a player.

Evelyn:

Now we put in everything because we can't get rid of him.

Terry:

Yeah, yeah, it's so true.

Terry:

Uh, and then, um, from there, I started looking at, at different TTRPGs.

Terry:

And now we have a collection, both mainstream that you can find online

Terry:

and a whole host of Kickstarters.

Terry:

Um, I'm actually, we're going on vacation here soon when this is released.

Terry:

It'll, we'll actually be at the campground and I'll be reading Vason as

Terry:

I prepare for our other podcast that's upcoming that I'll tell you about later.

Terry:

And it's, you know, it's been kind of an adventure.

Terry:

Um, I have turned into more of a forever DM though.

Terry:

I do get to play currently am playing a character in a single

Terry:

campaign, which is really cool.

Terry:

Um, but at one point, what last summer I was running.

Terry:

It was like 10 games a week.

Terry:

Yeah,

Evelyn:

something like that including the two because it was the time it was

Evelyn:

just the two streamed nights Yeah, you had yeah, cuz you had two on Sunday.

Terry:

I had a Wednesday.

Terry:

I had a Thursday

Evelyn:

couple on Saturday.

Evelyn:

Yeah Yeah, it was, it was a lot.

Terry:

And so I've, I've, I've cut that back a little bit,

Evelyn:

just a bit.

Terry:

So that's kind of where my, and you'll hear more as we move forward,

Terry:

but that's kind of where my story is.

Terry:

Uh, all right, Evelyn, take it away.

Evelyn:

So, yeah, so, um, I actually started, uh, playing with, uh, D& D.

Evelyn:

3.

Evelyn:

5 in 2004.

Evelyn:

I was 18.

Evelyn:

So I got, I got Terry by 20 years when I started And I actually was playing with

Evelyn:

a group of high school friends and we played over the summer Pretty much every

Evelyn:

time we could get together and ended up

Evelyn:

going through the majority of the summer, but as soon as school started started.

Evelyn:

Uh, we were not able to get together again.

Evelyn:

We had planned on it, but you know, life goes as it goes and, and breaks

Evelyn:

didn't really align the way they would have, you know, been best to.

Evelyn:

But, um, so yeah, so after that, um,

Evelyn:

I had a bit of a hiatus, um, and came back, um, at the end of 2017.

Evelyn:

I actually started, uh, playing in a campaign that used the Pathfinder 1e

Evelyn:

ruleset, which, uh, is very similar to 3.

Evelyn:

5e as it is actually the, um, Paizo, um, successor to 3.

Evelyn:

5.

Evelyn:

Uh, a lot of the people who created, uh, 3.

Evelyn:

5 were involved with the creation of Pathfinder 1e.

Evelyn:

Um, so they're very similar and it was very easy for me to pick

Evelyn:

up going into it, which was nice.

Evelyn:

Um, but yeah, so uh, it was uh, it was 1e campaign, but instead of being set

Evelyn:

in Golarion, it was actually set in uh, post Lord of the Rings Middle earth in

Evelyn:

the fourth age, which was was pretty fun and a good way to kind of dip the

Evelyn:

toes back into Um tabletop rbgs because it was familiar Uh, source material.

Evelyn:

Uh, wasn't, like, a lot of new stuff to learn.

Evelyn:

Um, but then, um, starting with that, uh, I got connected into, uh, streaming,

Evelyn:

uh, a, um, PFE, Pf1e campaign, um, of Rise of the Runelords, and that was a

Evelyn:

couple years, uh, of a campaign, and I actually got to see that through the

Evelyn:

end, though my very, very, uh, last couple of sessions that I played in,

Evelyn:

uh, they managed to, uh, stream me in.

Evelyn:

And because it was an entirely in person stream, uh, they managed to stream me

Evelyn:

in because I had actually moved away.

Evelyn:

But yeah, so, um, and then, um, with that having kicked off, we also

Evelyn:

were streaming on Tuesday nights, a, um, Greyhawk, uh, set, uh, PFE,

Evelyn:

PF1E, uh, campaign, um, which is the one that Terry mentioned already.

Evelyn:

That was where we, um, kind of started picking up.

Evelyn:

We had started with, uh, actually a different.

Evelyn:

Player who had to leave because his schedule didn't allow him to be Um,

Evelyn:

there at the start of the stream, and so we were looking for a replacement

Evelyn:

player, and having had played World of Warcraft with Terry for a long

Evelyn:

time during roleplay, I was like, Hey, wanna do some Pathfinder maybe?

Terry:

I was like, uh, cool!

Evelyn:

So yeah, um, so that's how we managed to get him, uh, hooked

Evelyn:

and, um, you know, attached to that.

Evelyn:

And so, uh, yeah, that was That was a really fun group, and it was a lot

Evelyn:

of really awesome people that, you know, I love and adore to this day.

Evelyn:

Uh, one of which who was, uh, my in character best friend, and

Evelyn:

became my maid of honor for our wedding, so that was pretty cool.

Evelyn:

Um, but yeah, um, so, but yeah, so through the Rise of the Rune Lords

Evelyn:

group, we actually met, um, Thomas.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Uh, who was, he played in our Allies of Alcanstar campaign, and he's

Evelyn:

actually, he uh, DMed um, some, uh, Powered by the Apocalypse, Sponsor

Evelyn:

of the Week, um, so that was my first like, introduction to Indie, more,

Evelyn:

or not necessarily Indie, cause Evil Hat's not the most Indie, Right.

Evelyn:

but it is more of the, Outside of the side of things is, you

Evelyn:

know, one of the less, um, major

Terry:

less commercial.

Terry:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Um, game systems and Monster of the week was so, such a good time.

Evelyn:

And so like, I was like, Ooh, let's, let's start checking out some more of

Evelyn:

their stuff 'cause that looks awesome.

Evelyn:

I, um, so, yeah.

Evelyn:

Um, and then, um, he, uh, I ended up in that extinction curse

Evelyn:

campaign that, that we talked about.

Evelyn:

Uh, um, and that lasted for a little bit.

Evelyn:

Um, but we did pause it indefinitely due to, uh, one player's, uh,

Evelyn:

uh, unavailability, which, you know, is the We love you,

Terry:

Jake.

Terry:

Don't worry.

Evelyn:

The ultimate, uh, BBEG real life.

Evelyn:

Um, so, um, but we did come back later with that Outlaws of Alcazar campaign.

Evelyn:

Which, uh, was actually my second campaign to completely finish as a

Evelyn:

player, uh, after Rise of the Runelords, and then I actually got to play in that

Evelyn:

Abomination Vaults, which I finished after

Terry:

But you didn't start the Abomination Vaults.

Terry:

Three different

Evelyn:

starts.

Evelyn:

Um.

Terry:

Oh, technically, yeah.

Terry:

Yeah, it was three different

Evelyn:

starts.

Evelyn:

So I had started Yeah.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

This is so funny.

Evelyn:

I started with an in person group with some of the other faculty from, from,

Evelyn:

yeah, cause we were playing on Fridays.

Evelyn:

And then, um, I started on Sunday nights and then on my third start was

Evelyn:

Wednesday night and I, uh, that was the group that I ended up finishing with.

Evelyn:

And it was a lot of fun.

Evelyn:

You're currently playing Bloodlords.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

That one's a fun one.

Evelyn:

Um, it's a good group.

Evelyn:

Um, and so.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Um,

Terry:

Now you're probably sitting there thinking, well, the guys,

Terry:

these guys do a lot of Pathfinder 2E.

Terry:

Trust me, we don't.

Terry:

We do less of it now than we did.

Terry:

So a lot of our past is Pathfinder 2E, but

Evelyn:

it's kind of what set us up for, for the What's coming next?

Terry:

Yes

Evelyn:

But yeah, so that that outlaws of Alcatraz campaign was actually kind of

Evelyn:

that birth the birth of Roll 4 Perception as it is today And what kicked us into

Evelyn:

looking at all these other things because after a while playing the same system it

Evelyn:

you kind of get burnt out a little bit and and As much as I love it, because I do.

Evelyn:

I, I actually, uh, run a game of, of, um, Rust Hinge, and we're going to go

Evelyn:

into Seven Dooms for Sandpoint very soon.

Evelyn:

Um, As much as I love Pathfinder 2E and the system, I just want to branch out

Evelyn:

a little bit, you know, stretch out and check out some of these other systems, so

Evelyn:

that's kind of what we're looking at now.

Evelyn:

Um, and yeah, so we're still streaming Pathfinder 2E, of course, uh, with

Evelyn:

our, um, Sunday and the the Monday kind of was we put that on highest for

Evelyn:

the time being But yeah, we've been delving into and reading every TTRPG

Evelyn:

that we can get our hands on basically We've we've visited many friendly local

Evelyn:

game stores in in multiple states now.

Terry:

Yes

Evelyn:

And, uh, but yeah, I'm, I'm, I've been especially excited to check out some

Evelyn:

new genres that move away from the stock fantasy feel of D& D and Pathfinder.

Evelyn:

We've been loo I, in particular, have been looking at a lot of horror

Evelyn:

games because I, I love horror stories and finding things like that

Evelyn:

that we can kind of play around in.

Evelyn:

It's very exciting to me.

Evelyn:

So,

Terry:

so then, you know, the next question is why, why a podcast?

Terry:

Why are we doing this now?

Terry:

I mean, there's plenty of podcasts out there.

Terry:

Okay.

Terry:

A couple of things.

Terry:

First off podcasts, many podcasts don't last longer than 10 to 20 episodes.

Terry:

Um, I know this for two reasons.

Terry:

One, I've actually done.

Terry:

four different podcasts since 2014.

Terry:

Um, my shortest was I think three or four episodes.

Terry:

I did it for the college's theater department that I

Terry:

was working with at the time.

Terry:

We didn't get very far, uh, on it and I'm fine with that.

Terry:

But the longest I ever did was 125 episodes for a podcast called The

Terry:

Lorecraft Podcast for World of Warcraft.

Terry:

And I know what it takes to make a podcast work, and so I wanted to move back to it.

Terry:

And the other thing is, we've got a family, we like to spend time with

Terry:

our family, and one of the things that streams do each week is they

Terry:

really do kind of eat up a lot of our time because they're generally

Terry:

about Two and a half to three hours.

Terry:

I have to do a lot of prep for the streams as I'm GMing both of our current streams.

Terry:

We were at one point, I was streaming three times a week,

Terry:

which was a lot of work.

Terry:

And so a podcast allows us to kind of sit back, relax.

Terry:

I don't have to look pretty.

Terry:

Like if you saw me right now, I'm terrible.

Terry:

My hair is a mess.

Terry:

Uh, I need, you know, uh, eyebrow plucking and a variety of other things.

Terry:

I mean,

Evelyn:

he's also lying to you right now.

Evelyn:

He looks great.

Evelyn:

He always does.

Evelyn:

It

Terry:

doesn't count.

Evelyn:

It doesn't count.

Evelyn:

I mean, I might be a little biased, but

Terry:

And so, and so, yeah.

Terry:

And, and so we One of the things I love to do is share My passion, my love

Terry:

for the world of TTRPGs with others.

Terry:

And that's, uh, this allows me to talk about it because, uh, I mean, you,

Terry:

you ask Evelyn, I talk about it a lot.

Terry:

Last night, last night's a good example.

Terry:

I was sitting here and I was just typing up notes.

Terry:

I did that for like three and a half hours because I was ready to

Terry:

talk about stuff because it was.

Terry:

Getting all the notes for our first several episodes.

Terry:

And so this is super exciting for me.

Terry:

And then the other big thing is, uh, we're able to kind of clue

Terry:

other people into these new games.

Terry:

So, you know, maybe in a roundabout way, we have more people to play with us.

Evelyn:

Oh, nonsense.

Evelyn:

Like we're always looking for, for people who want to play fun games.

Evelyn:

So we, we want, we want to get everybody as like, Obsessed with TTRPGs as we are

Evelyn:

really that's that's kind of the long term goal I mean, you know more people we

Evelyn:

can talk about it to the better, right?

Terry:

And so we're gonna be recording two to three podcasts each time We do a

Terry:

recording session and then we will release those podcasts over the following two to

Terry:

three weeks So one of the things I want people to be aware of obviously, you

Terry:

know, if you send us email which you know We are, we are definitely open to email.

Terry:

I'm setting up an email address for that.

Terry:

If you send us email or, uh, you know, DM us in Twitter or DM us on our discord

Terry:

that we will eventually answer things, but it may take a couple of weeks as,

Terry:

you know, as we are re, uh, re recording every couple, three weeks because, and

Terry:

part of the reason I want to say this on one of those off weeks, excuse me

Terry:

and see now I can mark a place where I coughed and I can, uh, delete that.

Terry:

Because we're going to be starting up another podcast, a second

Terry:

podcast, which is an actual play, but it's not long term actual play.

Terry:

Like a lot of podcasts are, we are literally going to

Terry:

be doing short campaigns.

Evelyn:

Minisodes.

Terry:

Minisodes.

Terry:

You come up with that by yourself, or you find it somewhere?

Evelyn:

I I I I I like

Terry:

it.

Terry:

Hehehe.

Terry:

Minisodes.

Terry:

So yeah.

Terry:

So we're gonna be, so our first one's gonna be Vase, and should

Terry:

be about nine total episodes, and then from there we have, trust

Terry:

me, we have a whole host of games.

Evelyn:

Yeah, we need a new bookshelf.

Evelyn:

We have.

Evelyn:

Our books have kind of exceeded the amount of bookshelf space we have.

Terry:

And so the title of that one's going to be called

Terry:

the Loremaker Chronicles.

Terry:

So keep an ear out for that.

Terry:

Um, we will of course announce it, let people know, uh, and super excited

Terry:

about getting started on that one.

Terry:

Yes.

Terry:

Um, as I said, it's less demanding for us.

Terry:

Um, we have a youngin, uh, and then during the summer, we have a couple

Terry:

of other, other children here with us.

Terry:

And so, you know, we're pretty active.

Evelyn:

It sounds like we just have stray children with us.

Evelyn:

Our older children are

Terry:

loose.

Terry:

Sometimes they are stray.

Terry:

I mean, they kind of wander around.

Evelyn:

I mean, yes.

Terry:

And so, uh, yeah, and

Terry:

then I'm here, I can screw up and I can then go back and fix

Terry:

it and you won't ever know.

Terry:

That I screwed up, which is great.

Terry:

Um, I like your little note about, or if you forget to hit

Terry:

record, it's not as big of a deal.

Terry:

As

Evelyn:

long as we don't talk for the entire three hours before you

Evelyn:

realize you didn't hit record.

Terry:

Oh my gosh, that would make me cry.

Terry:

So bad

Terry:

All right.

Terry:

So we're going to, we're going to kind of wrap this up fairly quickly,

Terry:

but where else can you find us?

Terry:

Well, you can find us on our Twitch stream, which is

Evelyn:

roll for perception.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Terry:

Yep.

Terry:

Uh, it's a twitch.

Terry:

tv backslash roll for perception.

Terry:

Uh, you can find us on roll for perception.

Terry:

com.

Terry:

We have a website, which I've neglected a little bit, but

Terry:

there's been a lot going on.

Terry:

My son graduated.

Terry:

We were on the road for 10 days.

Terry:

Um, it was very busy.

Terry:

Um, and so, so yeah, so Twitch stream, Roll4Perception.

Terry:

com and then you can find us on Twitter.

Terry:

On Instagram, on TikTok, and on BlueSky.

Terry:

Uh, Twitter is role underscore perception.

Terry:

Yeah,

Evelyn:

because apparently four is too many letters.

Terry:

Uh, Instagram, BlueSky are both, or not BlueSky.

Terry:

are both role for perception.

Terry:

And BlueSky is RFP dot BlueSky.

Terry:

Yeah.

Terry:

Uh, so definitely check us out there.

Terry:

We have a, uh, Patreon and a Ko fi and a YouTube and a Gumroad because

Terry:

I make maps and I give those out.

Terry:

Uh, so you can check us out lots of places.

Terry:

You can find Evelyn.

Evelyn:

Uh, not really anywhere at the moment, uh, since I don't have

Evelyn:

any public facing social media.

Evelyn:

Um, but if you, if you're looking for me and you have any questions, I'm, I'm

Evelyn:

in our discord like pretty regularly.

Evelyn:

So,

Terry:

Oh, and we're on Facebook, which is weird because I had not, I

Evelyn:

always forget

Terry:

we have Facebook now.

Terry:

Yeah.

Terry:

You know, I just added that.

Terry:

So, so make sure to, uh, check us out.

Terry:

Uh, you know, if you're looking for, uh, if you have questions, advice,

Terry:

uh, those sorts of things, we are very apt to answer pretty easily.

Terry:

Uh, finally, uh, let's see, um.

Terry:

One of the things that we'd love to have you do is whether it's on

Terry:

Twitter, whether it's on blue sky or wherever you want to do it, let us know

Terry:

what systems you want us to look at.

Terry:

Uh, because we are doing this for you all.

Terry:

We are doing this as, I mean, we love it.

Terry:

And you might clue us into a system that we didn't know about.

Terry:

One of the things, one of the systems we want to get is a Delta Delta green.

Terry:

Uh, we started listening to a podcast and we were like,

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

So, um, we actually were clued into this podcast by one of our, the friendly local

Evelyn:

game stores in, uh, Nashville, Tennessee.

Evelyn:

Um, arcane

Terry:

Wizard, if you're in Nashville, check it out.

Terry:

A, a workshop, arcane workshop.

Terry:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Um, they're awesome.

Evelyn:

They are some of the friendliest like people, um, I've ever had, and they

Evelyn:

had so many indie games on their shows.

Evelyn:

Oh my gosh.

Evelyn:

Um,

Terry:

we, we spent a lot, we went there twice and spent.

Terry:

a lot of our business funds for that so that we could.

Evelyn:

So check them out.

Evelyn:

Uh, they're, they're awesome.

Evelyn:

Um, but yeah, they, they clued us into Delta green, but also this podcast

Evelyn:

that is running, um, a, uh, Delta green campaign, which is fascinating.

Evelyn:

Yeah.

Evelyn:

Oh,

Terry:

it's.

Terry:

It's really cool.

Terry:

It's really cool.

Terry:

All right.

Terry:

Well, I have a, I, you know what, I have a closing that we, we say at

Terry:

the end as well, I just, I'm going to grab it real quick because I had

Terry:

not copied it for our session zero

Evelyn:

and I'll just, I'm

Terry:

going to just put it down here on the end.

Terry:

So there's our closing.

Terry:

As always, thank you for joining us for this week's podcast.

Terry:

We hope we inspired you to continue your TTRPG journey.

Terry:

However, that may look.

Evelyn:

Make sure to stop by www.

Evelyn:

rollforperception.

Evelyn:

com and leave a comment on our podcast page.

Evelyn:

We're always looking to answer questions and discuss new TTRPGs.

Terry:

So make sure you have your D20 ready.

Evelyn:

And your goblin voice arrested

Terry:

as you head out into the world of TTRPGs with Roll for Percepticast.
